For 18 months I have been experiencing a very annoying problem with the check engine light coming on and then my rev limiter kicking in at 7000 rpm. It happens only when driving hard at the track. Latest time left error codes 7,18,52 at least one of which relates to the VTEC oil pressure switch which I have replaced. VTEC does seem to work properly judging by the drop in oil pressure. All wiring connectors have been doublechecked.
I'm about ready to find someone to disable the kickdown of the revlimiter to 7000 rpm if possble or buy a performance chip if it does not have this aggravating feature. Any similar experiences or suggestions? Thanks, Jeff
