Nissan NSX Clone?

Anyone else think the Nissan MID4 car looks like the NSX?

We brought this subject up back in the mid 90's on this very forum amd again a few years later. It is a well know fact that the MID4 Nissan that was built amd shown in the mid 80's (with HICAS and early version of the ATTESSA awd) and later cancelled was heavily copied by Nakano the chief NSX designer in its final form. If you have chance to see a photo of the red MID4 (not the later silver MID4-II that you posted) even the rear end looks like it heavily influenced the NSX.

No denying the NSX front end is a dead ringer for the MID4 concept.

^^^^^ that looks to me more like the Ford Probe / Mazda MX-6 from the early '90's, with a shortened NSX-style nose and Ferrari-style rear buttress arrangement grafted on. Very dated.

But Dave Marek by far draws the ugliest cars and is the most pretentious of all. He is responsible for making an entire ugly generation of hideous Acuras. Check out his "masterpiece" Advance Sedan Concept and how he pontificates on that POS.
