Well guys.

I have been working on the car for a while now. But I think I am about to turn a corner and get this thing moving again. I have spent many hours stripping all the paint off of this car.

The before picture.

Wow..thanks for the warning. That was pretty hardcore pictures for us Primers. You should be smacked for not posting some "after" pictures as I felt really dissapointed when I got to that questionmark of yours.

Please do not go widebody or Veilside. (sorry JDMnsxR)

Regards

Yes new Rims are being planned for.

I either want the Blitz 03 or the Work VS-SS in Burning Black from science of speed.

And no there will not be a wide body kit. I kind of think every one does wide body kits. But It will get the new updated headlights.

Hint. The car will be Dayton Blue Pearl or the 04 Honda motorcycle Blue (taithian Blue Pearl) with Black and Carbon Fiber.

looks like the cars already had a repaint? from the before pictures, to the inside fenders (i see red)?

btw, no offense to those who don't like widebodies... nsx's are all beautiful... haha...

can't wait to see final product...

yes. it was already painted blue when I got it. So I dont feel bad making it the car of my vision.

I am just not a widebody type guy. So I will keep mine as a non widebody.

Yeah I am so ready to get it back on the road. But working in the garage and outside is kind of hard at this time of year being cold.

The plan is to do my own custom side skirts and rear valence. So that will take some crafting.

yea - that blue wasn't beautiful. you definately won't get reamed for fixing it the correct way as you seem to be doing.

do you have a color in mind??

can't wait to see the custom stuff... a big fan of all the people who have the guts to really do custom 'one off' stuff.... vroom was a great example of that.. .best of luck!!!!

Funny about that. Yes I have followed Vroom postings. Because I actually will use the same front bumper and hood as his. I actaully had those parts at my house before he started posting his pictures. And I was really please to see him do the rear bumpers. I liked how that turned out.

But being me. I have to do my own thing and make the car mine. I am having a big issue with a part that got lost in shipping and cant seem to get another one working with Joe Toth. It was shipped back in Aug and we still have not got it worked out yet.

But stay tuned.

Good luck with the project!
I cant wait to see how it comes out.

Are those chrome Giovanna Rios on the car now?
I used to have (still do but they are in the attic) a set if those on my car.
Boy, do those things weigh a TON!
You will notice a big difference with lighter wheels.

Good Luck!

That color would have been fine if someone took off those hideous wheels, got rid of the limo tint, that 1986 bra, and the R spoiler where there are no other R parts. That car was ugly and it had nothing to do with the blue paint.

Anyway I am glad you came to this poor car's rescue and am looking forward to your project, it sounds like it will be very cool!

What kind of wheels are those? They look a bit odd at first glance, but could be interesting highly polished?
they look like diablo wheels straight off a lambo

wow, you can see it was a red NSX to start with but wich color are you going to paint it? Lime Green
the blue looks special
(that car cover is just so ugly!)

Hey Guys.

looks like every one is liking the thread I started.

Well Vancehu does look like you have me beat right now on taking the car apart. The doors will be the next thing to come off next. Mine will be close to being as apart as yours was.

Nbovelle
Yes they are chrome Giovanna. They were on the car when I bought it. And yes they are very heavy. I want something different. when I get the car back together I am going to have some one photoshop in the 2 different rims I want and then decide whick one to get.

Ok. no one likes the cover. I put the cover on when I was going racing or driving longer distances to protect the front end. With the new front bumper and hood I can not use it any more.

The car will be Blue again. Just have not decided which blue I like the best. Will some what be decided when I put the Carbon Fiber up against the 2 blues and which looks best with it.

I will let you know. things might be slower. I have decide to open my own business over the next 2 months. So I will try to get new pics up as I can.

Thanks for staying tuned in for the updates

Could use some ones help with an +02 hood. If some one could help me with a template of the front of the hood I would appreciate it. I am changing out the lights to a +02 style. and have a 91-01 hood.

Private me if you can help me with this.
