Just takes a year of tinkering, a little knowledge of acoustics, and some luck....

I had plans to do my own turbo, but am now going to supercharge... purely because I don't want to loose this hard-earned sound. Fly-by's to come when I finish my diffusor, but this was taken this morning on my cell phone:

Nice Mac.. the first post with "F1" in the title that was actually relevant

A job well done!

Regards

Thanks for the compliments!

Yeah - that was loud mode with cats bypassed, but the windows were up. With this sound, I don't think I've driven around much in quiet mode

Wish I had some titanium and good fabrication skills!

Nice job Dave! I love it, I would love to see what parts are used (?) and maybe I can try to build one if its not too sercet

I want an F1 sound big time for my NSX!

does sound kinda like F1...but 90's vintage:wink: which is still very sexy. You have utilized sound principles in getting that pitch, kudos.

Two words:

MUST HAVE! :eek::biggrin:

Where are all the doubters now eh?

Thanks!

It's been raining here this weekend, and looks like almost next week too. I'll try to get some flyby's soon.

I take it this (Kriessieg type) video is not the latest revision:

Will your design fit a stock rear valence or is it center exit?

Most impressive!

That was the version prior to this one.

This exhaust is center-exit for simplicity and weight-savings. I also wanted it center exit for my custom diffusor I'm making.

Also, I don't use a rear sway bar for two reasons: 1) Prefer the handling that way; 2) It opens up sooo much real estate and exhaust routing possibilities that limits all the other exhaust designs.

Simply amazing. Love it. Kind of wish I wasn't turbo.....kind'a.

Yeah, a person would have to be really crazy to remove their turbo for this!

I just compared this video to your previous version and the increase in pitch seems significant.

And your previous version was already on par with other "F1" exhausts!

Is seems you have stuck gold here. Im very impressed.
