It is with excitement that NSX Club of Canada is taking Est Fest 2011 to Picton, Ontario in the beautiful Prince Edward County region, just 90mins west of Gananoque, and 30mins south of Belleville Ontario. We will be staying right along the West Lake at a beach-front resort of Isaiah Tubbs.

Prince Edward County is an island community encompassing less than 700 square kilometers (270 sq mi), with over 800 kilometers (500 mi) of shoreline. It shares spectacular natural beauty with over 100,000 visitors each year. A popular attraction is Sandbanks Provincial Park, attracting thousands of visitors on hot summer days, and off course beautiful cruising roads. The county’s relatively mild climate due to the influence of Lake Ontario has led to the establishment of 26 wineries. Prince Edward County in recent years has become a top culinary destination. A fertile island bursting with vineyards, organic farms and a community of artists and chefs, tucked into the “golden triangle” between Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa, it is the province’s newest Designated Viticultural Area, which helps identify the origin of a wine and its grapes.

Isaiah Tubbs is a 75-room beach front resort that caters to families and corporate team building events. Our group will have access to section off parking and beach front amenities. Tennis courts, swimming pool, basketball court are available to all the active folks. We are particular excited about the beach front gathering around the bonfire by the lake. The resort is divided into six buildings. Each offers a different level of accommodation to suit your particular needs. You may refer the attached map for building location at the resort. We have negotiated special rates for members who book before March 18, 2011. You may refer the attached link to have a look at the rooms.

Okay, we are booked (Lodge 1 downstairs).
I didn't want to fight you guys on the cheaper rooms, so I figure to book early. I booked breakfast as well so no guess work on the most important meal of the day.

I'm in!!!! Lana and I've been to PEC (Prince Edward County) - awesome place, great strawberries sold at the roadside farmers' stands!

Becks and I are in. We might get there Friday night, but we'll be there! Our room is booked!

Rhys,Michelle and I will be there too.
Looking for new ideas for the technical sessions? Any ideas?

I hear the Tech session is going be a discussion on Diaper or Oil change which is easier?

Bram

I think there is also a part about keeping your stroller running well, including wheel rotation and lubricating the folding mechanism properly to enable fast, efficient deployment....

So who is going to lead this Technical discussion?

Nominations:
Rob's topic - Specialist in Diaper changing and dealing with a surprise spraying
Owen --
Garick --

Bram

I'm in. Not 100% about Nancy and the kiddies so I'll either show up in the STi with the family or the NSX solo.

Nominations:
Rob's topic - Specialist in Diaper changing and dealing with a surprise spraying
Owen --
Garrick -- Specialist in dealing with a surprise spraying (type 2)

It's awesome to see Garrick and Robert signed up. We need our tech guys there.

I would be hard pressed to do any sort of demo on diaper-tech. It's hard to "install" these on jonathan when he keeps kicking/spraying me in the face. Hopefully I have the techniques down by May.

To those who haven't signed up, you are best to do it soon and book your room before the early bird rates expire on March 18.

I book my room last week, and there are some good rooms still available, after March 18th they drop off and I beloieve the Price goes up.

I booked last week.

Owen I expect you to be able to do a diaper change in under 1 min 42 sec which should also be your lap time at mosport.

At a min 42 I would still struggling to take the dirty diaper off. I need at least 5 mins. to do a good job. Best to look at G & R for the demo.

Yes, rates will increase starting March 19. You should book your room now and save.
