OC caravan for prime canyon drive 04

Don't get the wrong idea, I drive like a grandpa. Everytime when I lead, there are always people pushing right next to me to get me go faster. When that happens, I'll just let them lead.

Caravan protocol is to have a leader and a trailer with radios. Everyone else is supposed to be in between. The leader sets the pace and the trailer keeps the pack organized in front of him/her. That way no one get's left behind and no one get's a ticket, assuming the everyone is obeying the law. Since we don't have a CHP escort like at NSXPO '03, we need to drive safely and at legal speeds - JMO. Hate to be a fuddy-duddy and I'm sure everyone will agree that we can all do without a tickey.

Man, just thinking about the 03 NSXPO police escort made me all giggly. We were going close to 90+ mph when the motorcycle cop caught up and signal us to go faster to keep a tighter pack.

Why can't we get this kind of treatment everytime we get on the freeway?

Hi Ryan, I think you are correct about the time we are going to be in your area. I'll try to call you on your cell when we reach seal beach. If you could have your radio on after the phone call, you should have enough time to get on the fwy to join us.

Your club radio should be set at the frequency of 464.55 MHz. The Club Radio FAQ can be found in this page. Check about halfway down. You might be able to find the info you're looking for right there.
