Hi, newby here from Asia,, I am re-conditioning a 1991 NSX (us market),
realized that I need new speaker units,, and searching for one(used, in good condition).
But I can't decide which year of speakers to buy..
Was there any change in terms of speaker part compatibility between NSX models? (especially 1st gen and 2nd gen)

Looks like 91 car can use 2005 car's speakers/sub (according to someone else's post in this forum)

But want to double check before place a purchase from here in Asia .. Can somebody help me please?

Newbe here too, this is my first post so Hello from NJ.

The audio system is the same for all years.
You may want to look into having amps rebuilt or replaced with upgraded units, that is one of the more common failures for poor sound quality.
