Well 90% done, I just have to re-do my seats.

This is how my console was, the previous owner cut out the middle and had a panel w/ a flip out tv in the middle, always hated that. Plus it was silver, which I hated even more.

So I bought a new Pioneer AVH-P4300DVD and an Oem console from a prime member. Here it is w/ the middle pieces cut out:

I used Loctite Plastic Epoxy to form the sides.

I built the side walls up a bit because the tv has a lip at the bottom where the buttons are so I wanted the top of the screen and the lip to fit flush so the screen is at an angle and not flush w/ the console.

Next I removed the back of the ashtray assembly and the part where the cig lighter goes so I can fit my EDFC.

Then I had an old modem I had laying around that I thought would be perfect to form the face of my EDFC housing.

This is as far as the door opens, I have to take it back out and sand it down so I can access the usb port.

Special thanks goes to cwood1388 for pointing me in the right direction!

Looks great. Process look messy but end result is worth it. I like it. How did u do the handle leather? I like that. More updated look.

Man that looks great! Like the stealthy edfc mount as well

Once you take off the door panel, you have to loosen the tabs on the leather panels from the back then they just pop right out. When you take off the old leather just put your new vinyl under and then trace it with a razor blade. I used spray glue from home depot, you only have to spray the ends of the vinyl and the metal, not where the foam is. When you take off the old leather you will see exactly where the old glue was.

Nope, that's the normal semi-gloss finish. I might give it a coat of satin in a month or two if I get bored.

Here's a daytime picture:
