Lud, what do you think about returning to the top of the general discussion page after posting a topic or reply? I know that when I'm done posting I want to go back to that page to read other messages, not my own.

That is not a configurable option. However at the top of the screen there is a little tree that shows "NSX Prime Message Forums" and under that it shows the forum you are in such as "General". If you click on the "General" it will take you back to the main forum page (list of all topics) instead of the topic you just posted to.

I suppose I could modify the software if it's a big pain for people but everytime I did an update I'd have to re-do the mod.
