Do they make the Team 300 in the 320 size? I like the look of the team wheel but dont want a smaller size. What size is the OEM wheel?

The Momo Team is only available in 280mm and 300mm.

Measuring the outer edge, side-to-side...
OEM = 14.5 inches
Momo Team 300 = 11.8 inches

Photo comparing OEM and Momo Team 300.

Thank you for the comparison, I don't think I will like the wheel being that small.

Excluding my supercharger, the small steering wheel is by far my favorite mod.
a) the steering feels a lot more resposive,
b) easier entry and exit, and
c) I love the looks. (personal taste)

I first had the 300mm and just recently went with the 280mm. I noticed a further improvement in responsiveness with the 280mm.

It looks way small when compared to the OEM in the above photo, but when it's in the car, (to me) it looks right at home. When I get into another NSX with the stock steering ring, it feels HUGE to me.

If you don't like the looks of the 300mm or smaller, but perfer a 320mm or larger, definately do it. It is such a huge improvement in feel and feedback.

Here's a couple of photos of the 300mm installed.

It looks good, any issues seeing the gages due to its size or position?
when using a quick release hub do you loose the telescoping effect?
Do the cruz control buttons move with the wheel or are they fixed?

the Team300 is one of my favorites, but i gotta say the team280 is way more fun.
driving a stock steering wheel nsx feels like driving a school bus.
at first glance, size comparisons might scare some people off because school bus sized steering wheels are what people are familiar with.
actual driving is night and day difference in fun factor with the team300 and 280.
you get that go cart feel on the NSX

stock wheel makes the nsx steer like a boat....

It looks good, any issues seeing the gages due to its size or position?
sorta, but not really. depends where you tilt the wheel and use the telescope fucntion. you can set it where you want it and it should be fine.

when using a quick release hub do you loose the telescoping effect?
not at all. the telescope and tilt is built around the steering column.

Do the cruz control buttons move with the wheel or are they fixed?
they move with the wheel as you turn it.

wow it doesnt even look like a NSX any more. got a shot of the whole race car?

Sorry, I was just messing around. hehe Evo got it. :)

That pic is from old M-Tec NSX GT300 car. I think it was '94 or '95. I can't seem to find pics of the newer interior.

Seriously speaking, I'm running the same setup as Chris NSX on here. But I scratched off the tacky "Momo Tuner" print.

The tach and speedo... no problem! The other peripheral gauges, a little. But I just move my head a little to look under the ring. I've found that I don't look at those gauges very often.
when using a quick release hub do you loose the telescoping effect?
Nope, that mechanism is much further down the steering column and is not part of the steering ring. BTW, with the NR-G QR & hub, the turn signal controls, etc. are at the OEM distance from the steering ring... just the way I wanted it.
Do the cruz control buttons move with the wheel or are they fixed?
They rotate with the steering ring. I've never run into an issue with that because I've never set or adjusted the cruise control while turning.

I had the Team 280 and boy did it feel like a go cart! Without power steering, making a full turn or 3-pt turn was a bitch with the smaller 280mm. Even my kids liked to hop into my car and play around with the steering wheel because it was the same size as the Logitech Force feedback PS3 wheel.

I like the way you color matched the door panel inserts with the seat cushion and seat back panels. The red stitching is nice too.

Thanks for the interest!!Here it is!!

I like your setup, but was curious if you could give me some info on a couple of your mods? The dash overlays (speedo, rpm etc.), Where do you get them? How much do they cost? You mentioned different colors? (website maybe?). I saw the same steering wheel on an earlier post and thought that would look good with an NSX logo, and of course that's what you did. Where would one get this wheel plus the logo you used? Finally looking at your "center" speaker, is that a single 6" or two? How did the install go?

Thanks,
Chris

I did my dash overlays from a led dash shop in sydney, sorry i forgot the shop name, they are customise any design of dash for any cars.it comes with a little switch which tuning 6 different colors.green blue,orange...(it cost 400aud)
the steering wheel is simple, you can even do it youself,i just take off the momo logo and replace with a nsx Carbon fiber sticker with aluminum background.the center sub is 5" they customise fiberglass box and mount on it.

NICE !! Whats up with your wheel fetish ?

I think I have found a keeper, the last wheel was more of an interim solution, this one feels great, offers an unobstructed view of the shift lights, and is a good size.

I wish I had a better picture, the one above is a quickie camera-phone pic, as I just installed the wheel today.
