What did you use to paint your calipers and did you paint them while the calipers were on the the car? I cant decide between colors. Black is the safest bet, looks OEM. Gold gives it the cool 02'+ look but I don't have any other gold parts to match. Red could be seen as played out but it'll match my red engine brace and rear taillights.

Actually I didn't paint them, Mark (the previous owner) did. :redface: I think he told me that he painted with them on the car, but the secret is in the prep work. He spent many (15+) hours getting the caliper surfaces super clean and grinding crud off so that the paint will not fall off them. He said that had he known he was going to sell the car, he would not have put in all that work, lol.

I would like to paint the calipers silver in my Kaiser Silver 97, but I'm too lazy and busy with other stuff to get to it right now. I think the silver/silver would look pretty cool, but might be too matchy/matchy considering I have silver powder coated wheels on that car right now, which is another reason I have procrastinated. Midnight_Raven painted his calipers silver, and it looks pretty good IMO.
