West Car Settlement (CarFax): is it legitimate?

Have any of you received an email from West Car Settlement about a class action suit with CarFax? I did not find any conflicting information on Snopes or a thread here. It sounds as if you'll get a $20 coupon to use on a car record request with a competitor of CarFax. I do not see anything in particular about using your email address & information provided on the claim form for other purposes.
