One just hit ebay for $20k under sticker. No ADM. It looks like the consumers have spoken, and the dealers are getting scared of keeping old stock before the 2018's go into production.

So no yellow for 2018.

Correcto Jinks, no yellow for 2018 unless you visit your Lambo or Ferrari dealer.

The 812 Superfast in yellow is smokin.

The update

278 sold in the US in 2017
269 sold in the US in 2016
547 sold in the US over 13 months
The car that went over boulders is back in Ohio and is being carefully rebuilt, no time table, lots of documentation being made of the repair.
The crashed car Honda bought from the Copart auction is still stuck in CA.
They did not know that dealerships repairing the window/door/mirror vibration were asked to send videos of cars they experienced the vibration in.
There is something being worked on regarding a better lease.
There will be an NSX presence at Monterey again this year.
They are not informed about athletes, movie stars, other big cheeses getting cars. My intel say the Cubs Kris Bryant and a blue on red car on order (Cub colors).
There appears to be a steady number of folks taking tours.
They will look into the question regarding if the build mix is going more ex US (at the reduced rate of 24 cars per week, down from 32 and only 31 cars sold in June, if they continue to build 2/3s of the cars for the US, they will keep stacking up at the dealerships.
I let him know about the dealer posting videos of their test drives.
No additional cars have had electrical or mechanical issues.

516 cars sold in the first 12 months of production, not quite 2/3's of the expected 800.

and with no updates for 2018 models, one can't imagine next year's sales will be very good at this rate...

I agree with your prediction

Oh well, I am having fun with my car, but won't get to wave to many others on my way to work and back home

I'll be down for the radio shack style fire sale that is in the very near future if they do not listen to would be buyers or reviewers and update things VERY quickly. Like most people say, it is a very nice car and it's fast, but there is just something seriously missing here in terms of 200k-ish buy in price tag.

Honda is not Radio Shack

They will dial down production and expectations for the car

The dealers that dump their inventory will provide some buyers with a nicer value

There is no quick fix that folks are clamoring for

I know there is no quick fix. But I wish there were. If there is one thing the new car did, it was to solidify just how great the original was and continues to be.

As I have said many times, if this car was 130k I would be seriously shopping for one. But it just isn't a reality.:frown:

find a nsx thats msp is around 160... they are knocking 20k off msrp at the moment.. boom!

Yes and that's why their prices went up by 100% isince the financial crisis (and QE of course). What makes my suspicious about all those advertised cars is their ultra-low mileage. Less than 20k miles in the last 12-26 years, huh? I thought it was a drivers car. I'm not saying that there's no reason to have a garage -queen. But there are too many low-milers on the market...

Fully loaded have about $32k wiggle room. The $160k cars have probably less than 10k so it's unlikely you can get 20k off msrp on a base model

Ah I see.. I'm getting a very good deal on a fully loaded one right now. Glad you chimed in .. was wondering if you think dealers would ever sell lower then they bought the car for? Take some loss?

Yeah I see that one on ebay the casino white one?

Yea 20 off instant which can easily go for more I believe.. honestly this car at that price range is phenomenal

I know of one dealer who sold new at dealer invoice (meaning dealer only made the $2k holdback on the sale).

I agree because that car has some of the added upgrades. They key will be if it actually moves at 20k off of sticker.
