I am going with Novella Blue like my current car with mat wheels and silver ceramic brakes.
I went with Gotham Gray and Long Beach Blue as back up. Assuming Gotham Gray, Orchid interior, lightweight package with orange calipers.
Wondering what the source is for Gotham Gray being sold out? Of course I assume that’s true, but my dealer hasn’t been able to confirm color choice.

Do you know if Acura called you to confirm your order? I also put a deposit down and was told I got an allocation but the dealer told me the Acura would call me to confirm the order.

Did you get a call from Acura yet confirming your order ? I as well placed an order at my Acura dealer who mentioned that they were guaranteed one car and I was first in line. I haven’t got a call yet from Acura places on the 13th as well

Guess all this interest shows Acura should have come out with some special versions over the last couple of years. Maybe they would have kept it alive a lot longer, or maybe this was the plan all along with full electrification next?
Just curios where everyone placed there orders with... My local Dealers filled all off their 1~2 allocated slots and weren't taking any additional deposits.... For such types of sales, I'm curious on how many people either cancel or back out (for whatever reason).
If they have 299 cars to build and 450 +orders... Just curiosity on how many of the 400 will not go through (For whatever reason) 5~10% 20~40?

I ordered mine on August 13 - non allocated order but the only one taken - Indy yellow pearl with a red full leather interior, gloss wheels. lightweight package with red calipers and all the accessories (which the dealer told me they have to install). No Sirius XM. My 2017 NSX is Berlina Black with a red and black interior. I figured I would switch it up. I saw a 2021 NSX at Irwindale Drag Strip a few weeks ago and the Indy yellow looked better in person than in the pics I had seen - really pops.

I previously had a 2004 yellow/yellow NSX and currently have a 2020 yellow/black NSX. And I like red interiors. But make sure you want those two colors together.
Several years ago, I was on vacation with time to kill so I stopped by a Chevy dealer to check out the last gen Corvette when it first came out. I'm not a big Vette fan but these cars were selling like crazy, many over MSRP. They had someone back out on a custom ordered car and I was able to negotiate a great discount on the car due to the yellow/red color combo. I don't recall the exact numbers but I remember I was excited because I thought I could play around with the Corvette for a few months and then sell it for a profit because I was buying it so far below market value. I texted the pic to 2 friends and both of them independently said "that looks like Ronald McDonald's car". I couldn't get that out of my mind. I ended up not buying it because of the color combo.
Obviously get the color combo you want. Just wanted to share the thought.

Weakestlink: I had a 2000 NSX in yellow with a black interior and a 2001 Vette in Mellenium yellow with a black interior. However, with the S Type the Indy Yellow is quite different than the yellow of those prior cars. Additionally you have a lot of black w red stitching surrounding the red leather in the interior due to the color of the door panels, dash and center console. For example in the Vette you showed pics of the console was red and there was a lot of red in the door panels which isn't the case with the NSX. So I felt comfortable with going this route for some extra pop. Not sure if this link will show the end result - but on Acura website at the build your NSX section you can see the yellow door jamb with the red interior I chose and it looks fine to me.

I have seen Long Beach Blue in person on a NA2 NSX, but never in person on the NC1. I absolutely love the Long Beach blue on the NA2, but when I look at pictures of Long Beach Blue on the NC1, as well as Youtube Videos, it looks different, like a lighter shade of blue. Can anyone confirm that Long Beach Blue is identical (or different) between the NA2 and NC1?
Fingers crossed I get a Type S. Deposit has been placed. I put Gotham Grey as first choice but still need to decide on my second choice. Nouvelle Blue looks good in certain light, but has some purple in it based on many pictures and Youtube videos I've seen lately. I'm torn between the two blues.

IMO, the new Long Beach Blue on the NC1 looks great when the sun isn't out and it's cloudy, while Nouvelle Blue looks the best in pictures and video when the sun is out. Part of me wants to go crazy and go with Thermal Orange......
I actually like the orange and yellow, both with the black alcantara interior option. Ultimately I think the LBB was the best choice for me. I wanted white but a car this wild deserves a wacky color.
Did you choose black or gunmetal wheels? What color calipers?
And what interior did you go with? The Orchid interior is growing on me with LBB
Gunmetal, seemed Zanardi-ish. I did black alcantara and red calipers. I think that's the only option with iron rotors.
