Dragon Green Anodized
(coming soon.....)

Expect the best:
All calipers are pressure tested on the test bench at 10,000 psi of fluid pressure, so are the brake lines before being shipped. The stainless steel pistons are regularly tested during manufacturing, they are put through heat cycle for 30 days to check tolerance on bore and true. All new compounds and components are tested a minimum of 10k km on the streets and 25k km simulated test cycle on the brake dyno in addition to track testing.
Another thing that is done that not many, if any do, is heat treating the rotors. All rotors get heat treatments to ensure the longest life span. Most companies that do this to their rotors do this as a secondary step after they receive their parts from supplier, but WP manufactures its parts in house and does this from pre final machining, a quote on what benefit it has:

"The most effective way to normalize these stresses is to do it in the controlled environment of a heat treating oven. First the heat is applied gradually to the optimum temperature then cooled slowly while left in the oven. All this is done in an "as cast" condition before any machining is done so as to not affect the final dimensions of the rotor. The final machining is then done and you're left with an unstressed brake rotor ready for the track. "

THE MSRP for the WP Pro NSX BBK is $2,550.00 for the front kit. $3050.00 for the rear kit with handbrake. I was able to work with WP and put together an introductory buy for NSX owners. The introductory pricing is tiered as follows for WP Pro Front and Rear EX-6 BBK with e hand brake.
1-4 full kits $4800.00
5-7full kits $4500.00
8+ kits $4500.00 plus free shipping, $50 per axle off anodized rotor hat option, $100 off EX-6R upgrade

FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY WP PRO IS OFFERING THE PROMOTIONAL PRICE OF $4500 WITHOUT THE 5 KIT MINIMUM, ORDERS WILL PLACED AS THEY ARE RECEIVED, IN ADDITION WP PRO IS OFFERING A FREE EX-6R CARBON SERIES UPGRADE ON ALL KITS. THIS IS FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY

Options:
Matching Anodized Rotor Hats-$200 per axle
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/60844518@N04/9540412761/" title="04 NSX rear WP Pro by GTTHEORY, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2808/9540412761_9942f4a512_z.jpg" width="640" height="425" alt="04 NSX rear WP Pro"></a>
EX-6R Carbon Series Caliper-$850 per axle
The upgraded EX-6R caliper features a even lighter weight than the standard EX-6 caliper weighing in at just over 6 lbs. Just to compare, the Stoptech Trophy 6 piston weighs in at 8 lbs. The EX-6R also feature titanium vented pistons, you need to look to the Brembo GTR Series to find this from any other company. In addition to these performance upggrades you get the dry carbon nameplate as well as the special EX-6R 2 stage finish.

Carbon Ceramic Rotors with pads-$3500 per axle
Whats that? Yes, WP is currently getting ready to release a carbon ceramic rotor upgrade for those that are serious about having the best of the best on their track prepped NSX. This setup is not for the faint of heart, but if your ready to take your NSX beyond the next level, WP has what you need. Pics coming soon....

Dry Carbon brake ducts-$300 per pair
For for every last bit of effective cooling for the track or street. These ducts should only be used in conjunction with proper venting from bumper or you risk actually making your brakes run hotter.

E-brake is a separate caliper that uses the existing ebrake cable, here's mine.

I think the Wilwood uses the same type of set up. The Wilwood also has a mounting bracket made out of stamped steel the seems to bend under pressure. Ultimately, it is of little use and can barely keep the car in a parked position on even the slightest of inclines.

The need for a proper e-brake became apparent when I experienced total brake failure at a track event. Had there been a properly working e-brake, we "might" have been able to keep my car out of the wall. I believe the OEM e brake is tied to the existing OEM calipers and thus works infinitely better, but it has been a long time since I studied them.

Can you share printable front and rear mocks for test fitting?

If I remember correctly, these have a few mm more face clearance and 1-2mm more barrel clearance than an ST40 setup, all while running a larger brake disk. (328 vs 336mm I think?)

Hi will the Ex-6R fit under the factory 2002 17 inch wheels? Thanks, Frank

Yes the WP 6 EX6 and 336mm rotor will fit under 02+ wheels, but it will require a spacer to clear the spokes.

I don't have a printable mock, drop me an email and I can send to the measurement template. The WP Pro kit is about the same overall diameter as Stoptechs St40 kit, but about 7mm thinner on the face allowing more options for wheel fitment.

I've had these brakes installed for a little bit now but have limited miles on them. My friend has stoptech brakes so we'll swap wheels and take a few pictures of the clearances and also I'll be at the expo track days as well for questions and feedback.

But so far I'm very happy with them.

Quick question ...

In addition to these performance upggrades you get the dry carbon nameplate as well as the special EX-6R 2 stage finish.

Q: could this plate be personalised with NSX logo as a GB special if you have enough interest?

WP cannot apply a NSX or Honda logo due to copyright and trademark, however, with the EX6R I can have them made without the logo and the buyer can apply any logo of their choosing. Also, on the standard EX6 caliper the logo is machined in the face, we can also have these made blank and buyer can have NSX logo or Honda logo machined in. There is a $25 per caliper charge for the EX6 to be left blank due to the fact that the CNC need to be reprogrammed during machining.

whats the width of the calipers? im getting some new wheels custom built and want as much lip as i can get but still be able to clear your calipers.

I sent you an email with the brake clearance diagram.

WP Pro has offered us an even better deal that we are going to be extending to the NSX community, this is going to make the best deal in NSX brake systems even better. This deal will only be available for a limited time!! Stay tuned we will announce details Monday morning.

Where is the rotor wheel face in relation with the stock rotors. Stoptech pushes the wheels out 4mm in the front and 2.8mm in the back. Any specs for the WP Pro Kit?

WP Pro is offering us the discounted price of $4500 for for the full 4 wheel EX-6 NSX BBK with e brake. There is no minimum order to get this price, just place your order and kit will be built. In ADDITION to that WP is throwing in the top of the line EX-6R caliper upgrade for FREE!! That is $1000 off MSRP PLUS the $1700 EX-6R caliper upgrade all for $4500!! This deal will only be available for a limited time, once WP tells me that's it, well, that's it.
