You joined in 2003 so the Interweb isn't exactly new to you. :smile:

The URL is simply the address of the page that you are looking at. They are by their nature all unique and URL is simply a TLA for Uniform Resource Locator. If someone asks for a URL simply go to that page, copy all in the address bar for that page and paste it in full text. You have then given them the "URL".
