I apologize for the short notice.
We are hosting a blood drive for Children's Hospital this Saturday, Sept 2nd from 8:00 until Noon.
Come by, hang out with other car enthusiast and give up some of your red stuff. Even if you can't donate, your support is appreciated. We are hoping this turns...
Acid in a wheel cleaner needn't be a red flag, one should simply know the product before using it on sensitive wheels. Most painted wheels can handle a strong wheel cleaner as long as the wheel isn't hot or the product left on too long.
Any idea on the pH? Spray on hose off is great if your wheel can handle the chemical. I've seen a mild acid etch wheels (BBS LM) and discolor calipers (Honda S2000).
Anodized surfaces cannot handle acid. It will etch and turn them cloudy.
He may want to consider a wash only service where he will wash, dry and maybe QD the car. He could charge $15 a shot and get the neighbors on a weekly program. If he does a good job washing the cars, people will start asking for more. Get him set up with Quickbooks so he can create a...
I consider Swirl a medium cut. It's something that pairs well with an orange pad on either the PC or Cyclo. Rotary is ok too, but expect a little more cut.
I have found about a minute per section is a good baseline. This gives the abrasive a chance to break down and leaves a nice bright...
We've been working on our own product line for a while now and finally have a couple ready for consumption. We are starting with a QD called "Slick" and an auto wash called "Mystique." Over the next few weeks, we'll have a glass cleaner and SMR in bottles. We have a quick wax product, rubber and...
Swissol is a comptetitor to Zymol. They are most definately not the same company.
I've used Swissol Saphir and it is outstanding. Their Cleaner Fluid works like a champ and really makes a difference in the application process. I didn't find wax application to be any longer or more difficult...
Both are great tools, but there is some mis-information concerning the PC.
The PC is lighter, well-balanced and can easily be used with one hand.
Reliability is not an issue with the PC. We have sold hundreds of units and have had two come back. Both worked fine when we received them...
For someone just getting started, I say the PC. I have taught several training classes here and we request the students try both. They all appreciate the Cyclo on the flat surfaces of the hood/top/trunk, but by the end of the class the PC is running strong and the Cyclo sits.
Personally, I...
