Put the MAP sensor filter at 6 teeth. If you do change over and try the factory sensor for diagnostic reasons, make sure to scale the breakpoints the same so the tune does not change.
It is very likely that the stuttering and idle problems are tuning related (not hardware related). I would also check spark plugs as well - another member on this board traced several issues he was having back to fouled plugs. A good set of colder heat range plugs will do a lot of good regardless.

If this was a shop that told you a rumor like this, don't let them touch, install, or tune any form of engine management on your car. Absolutely rediculous information.

There are several 93mm piston sets available (the bore size you will need for a 3.2 L displacement). We have actually moved the valve pocket clearances out a bit lately to allow for later oversized valve upgrades on some of the latest sets we've used.

I have been running the AEM EMS since August 2003 with more than great success.
Prior to that, Basch sent me the car back post install running the SS box. I ran up to 10.5 psi on that box with great results as well.
I am just partial to the AEM EMS - that's all :smile:
