I've had mine for over 13 years but look at it now in my owners gallery under whwnsx.. I recommend not removing the steering wheel airbag. It saved my a**, I mean my face. Hope to have another NSX some day.
If you want to see what happens to an NSX while driving in cold wet weather go to my picture gallery photo's under my user name whwnsx. My car spun out going straight under acceleration. Luckily I was saved by my airbag and the great design of the NSX body structure. My only injury was a...
Thanks for the input guys. The only concern I have is that both bulbs seemed to have quit at the same time. Maybe one went out a while back and I didn't notice it. Now that both are dead it is very obvious.
Does anyone have any idea why I don't get Illumination on my Climate Control when I turn on my lights? The digital display dims as it should. I just don't get lights on the buttons and controls.
John, I live in Austin and have a 92 NSX. I am also interested in the wheel/tire setup you are pursuing. Could you keep me informed as to how you finally set up your car and maybe post some pictures. I would appreciate that very much.
I have owned my car for 13 years and have 151,000 miles on...
Thanks guys. I went to the SOS site and listened to a few of the systems there. I will let you know which system I will go with.
I am still not sure how hard it will be to get the old system off. It's been on for 151,000 miles. Will I need to order new gaskets and bolts or will I reuse the old...
Could one of you experts give me an idea how hard it is to add an after market exhaust system to my 92 NSX. Is it simply loosening 6 bolts and dropping the old system? What kind of problems could I run into?
Also what is the latest great sounding system available today? Where can I get it...
Thanks for the input guys. The only question I have is the parts list on Delray Acura shows 2 diferent part numbers. Which one should I order?
Price sounds good at $252.46.
I need some advice. My brake peddle goes all the way to the floor if I step on it easy. If I hit it fast or pump it it works okay. I think my master cylinder is gone. I've got 149,00 miles on my 1992 baby. Any advice or further tests I should perform before I replace it?
Does anyone have a...
Mike, I have a 92 NSX. I put over 147,000 miles on it in almost 13 years. It still looks like new. Take a look at the pictures I have in the NSXPRIME owners gallery. It does not have 1 door ding. It has some rock chips on the front end but that's just 147,000 miles of high speed driving here in...
You should click on the more pictures address on EBAY. The wiring diagram for this thing is a joke. The on/off switch is wired to short the car battery to ground and the electric turbo is wired to run all the time. I think the whole thing is a scam:cool: . It's just a heater blower motor.
I've got 145,000 on my 92. I bought it with 18,000 on the meter. It still looks and drives like new. I think this tells you that a car can be designed and built that lasts if you have good design and use good material to build it.
Yes the tire held air. In fact I drove it 60 miles an hour. It's when I got home and removed it is when I noticed a lot of cracking radialy and even some tred separation. I went to my local Acura dealer and asked about replacing it. He told me it comes as an assembly, tire and wheel and costs...
I recently had to use my spare after a flat tire. The tire is 13 years old and has gotten pretty dried up and cracked looking. Does anyone know where to get a reasonably priced replacement and who can install this thing on the crazy wheel?
LEX, is your car still for sale? I live in Austin and would like to drive down to see it. Let me know when, where I can come down.
email me if you want at [email protected]
Poppa, got your pictures. Car looks good. Got a CARFAX on it seems everyting is good. How did you acquire this car. I noticed it went fron St. Louis to Chandler and then to California. Give me some info on it.
Is the car in excellent condition? Any problems?
Regards,
Warren
DrVolkl, a crush washer is just a soft metal washer which is used to form a seal between the drain plug and the threaded opening in the oil pan. Almost all cars have such a washer. By crushing, it forms a perfect seal between what could be uneven surfaces of the drain plug and the drain hole...
