Thinking it might be time to swap out my timing belt ('05 w/ 17K miles). Any mechanic on LI that might be good for this? I was thinking of going to Island Acura in Wantagh, they did my battery replacement last year, nice and easy, but that was a much easier job...
I spotted this gorgeous red one twice.
First time at about 11:45am on Sunrise hwy, you were East bound as I pulled off the Wantagh pkwy going west bound. Not sure if you saw me in my black NSX.
Second time, I was in my civilian car. You were going West bound on Sunrise again in Freeport...
Not me this time. My NSX was in Manhattan once... Last November (Rich, remember the Bear Mountain advice you gave me?). And if I bring it back, it would be in the fall again. Too many pot-holes in the spring!
Hey guys, just wanted to make sure you guys saw that article that seemed to be out-of-the blue. Was in LI Newsday Suffolk County edition on May 2 (thats where I saw it anyway).
Hey guys, Anyone think it might be better to drive out to Vegas, spend the weekend then ship back home? Maybe its cheaper? Its nice driving out there knowing you'll be gambling, drinking and eating once you're there!
I'd be interested in shipping my car out there.... one way is more appealing... so I can get hammered on the plane, have money for the tables and the steak, and drive home w/ the top off.
Congrats!
Same as you, I was planning 3-4k a year... In the last 3-4 months I'm at 2600...and still have 3 months before hibernation!
Make sure you post in the Northeast Region forum... You'll be able to find other RI guys there. Also, I plan on bringing mine up to RI next month to visit...
33. Got it in November after spending the previous 7 years living abroad without a car. Considered it a welcome home present. Problem is now I can't keep myself out of this damn thing.
