Thoughts on the Bose Wave system ?

Well, if any of you guys are feeling generous, I'll be happy to forsake the BOSE when you sell your cars and buy me some Shindo products http://www.toneimports.com/shindo/shindohome.html Oh yeah Mike-san, Those shindo Latour speakers are f'ing amazing!!! Though admittedly I've never seen...

    High Performance VTEC-rockers ??

This product sounds very intersting. It seems to remove Vtec entirely (not necessarily a bad thing on a high-performance motor build). It claims that you can run whatever cams you want, but I find this hard to believe considering that valve to valve clearance at high lift/duration seems to be...

    Whit Water Rafting in Tennessee?

The Ocoee is a fun run for sure. I used to kayak it fairly frequently when I lived in Chattanooga. I think I may have rafted it once as well. It is a class III+ run and is dam controlled. I believe it runs every weekend during the summer. Check here for details...

    blade your ride!

So an increase in VE results in a loss of HP? Hmmmm... Sounds like snake oil to me. I'll agree with previous posters in that your claims of reduced emmissions are likely valid, but if you want to convince us that your product increases mileage, you've got a long road ahead.

    Hi-Po camshafts

I appreciate the responses. So it is sounding like truly wild cams for the NSX may be a myth? Anyone know what the jgtc guys are running (though I am sure it is w/out VTEC)? So piston to valve clearance can be accounted for (with dished out pistons), but if valve to valve clearance is the...

    Driving Ambition/Love Fab/Comptech 3.5L

I see you are using TODA cams on this motor. Mind revealing which ones? (lift/duration). Your dyno chart is very impressive indeed.

    Hi-Po camshafts

I’ve been looking at the dyno plots for the new SOS stroker kits and they’ve got me thinking about camshafts, VTEC and how the NSX engine flows at high RPM. All the stroker dynos show a sharp drop-off in torque starting at about 6000rpm (http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85793.)...

What do you guys think? jh4na1158mt000673

You could buy it and stick on a widebody:) . That would solve most of the body damage problems, but would probably run 10-15k+ once you got it painted. Other than that, the car looks like it is not in very good condition overall, but probably worth saving. That suspension damage is especially...

    Lil' Photoshop Fun

Yeah, I can't imagine why sh*t brown wasn't offered as a factrory color for the Enzo :D . I have worked with layers a bit, and they are definatly useful, but I still need a lot more practice with that sort of thing. Neo, do you have any advice on colorization? I have been using the replace...

    Lil' Photoshop Fun

I just got photoshop and have been messing around with some pics trying to learn my way around. This is my vision of what I want my X to look like when I get one (hopefully in the next 3-5 years!). http://www.unc.edu/~wlcoan/pics/02nsxrblackbbs.jpg I know its not perfect, but I'm still a...

    Carbon Fiber: Repairable?

Minor damage on carbon fiber body parts can be repaired, however, the process often adds significant weight to the part, sometimes negating the weight savings the carbon originally provided.

Anyone tried bigger rotors with stock calipers?

Integrapunk, actually this setup will increase swept area. If you think about it, even though the size of the rotor and pad do not change, they are moved farther from the axle, thus increasing their leverage and swept area, though not as much as a bigger caliper and pad would. For each...

    mod focus: Steering Hubs

Chris, Approximately how much is the weight difference between the SOS and Taitec hubs? It would seem that if it were no more than a few pounds that the weight difference would be negligable (especially in the center of the wheel like you said). Thanks for the great info.

    Omg!!!

While we're on the black wheels/polished rim subject, would someone please photochop these wheels into that photo with black centers? I think that would look unbeleivably cool. Thanks

    Omg!!!

Nice Looking wheels NSX-ster. What type and size are they? How much do they weigh? What tires are you running?
  22. T

    Omg!!!

I think black wheels with polished rims are hot too. I think a lowered, black nsx with . these bbs wheels with black powdercoated centers and polished rims would look badass. Dali sells them in 18x10 rears and 17x8 fronts, although I think I would go with 18's in the fronts to fit really big...

    Photochop Request

Attention photochoppers: I have always wanted to see what an all black '03 NSX-R would look like (that includes black wheels BTW ;) ). If anyone has some spare time, and feels up to the challenge, I would really like to see this picture chopped to look like that...

    Seriously contemplating this S2000 modification

Why is it that an s2k can make around 600 crank horsepower out of a 2 liter 4 banger, while nsx tuners struggle to break 500 with a similarly designed engine that is 50%+ larger in displacement? By this logic, it seems that a sleeved NSX motor, set up with a 23-24psi turbo system like this one...
