I can no longer go to the HPDE event. A novice slot is available. Let me know if you'd like to take my place.

Brake Booster / Servo Compatibility between 91-96 and 97-2005

I am considering replacing the brake booster / servo in my 1994, as the leaking master cylinder caused the paint to be damaged, causing the brake booster / servo to rust. I am seeing two part numbers: 46400-SL0-J02 for 1997-2005, and 46400-SL0-951 for 1991-1996. Does anyone know the former can...

    An owner again

After dreaming of owning an NSX for more than 20 years, I first bought the Brooklands Green / Black roof 1994 in 2007, with a little over 100,000 miles. I drove it a lot: I made regular runs to the wine country north of San Francisco, quick (very quick) trips to Los Angeles and back, and even a...

A 36 hour Sierra Nevada Road Trip

Hearing that all the passes were still open, I jumped in my 94, and head out to the Sierras. I cannot imagine a better car for such a trip. It cruises with such poise and smoothness on long stretches of US 395, while it roars up the steep hill towards Sonora Pass. Its suspension is compliant...

how to minimize rear inside tire wear

Stop driving on Interstates, and drive aggressively on winding roads. Then, you will use more of the tread, evening out the wear.

    Sightings.

You and I encountered each other before. I was on the ballet shuttle duty in December, too. Do you commute to Marin or points further north your NSX? I APPROVE!

    Sightings.

NSXYTYM spotted on US 101 heading south from Mill Valley, over the Golden Gate, then into the city. I was shuttling ballet students in my white Civic hybrid. Sounded nice :)

    Sightings.

Saw the white "NSXYTYM" on Eastbound Doyle Drive, then onto Lombard and Van Ness, at about 5 pm on Thursday, 3 December. I was in a white Civic Hybrid whom you briefly tailgated as we were both getting off Doyle Drive.

    Sightings.

Spotted a red '95-'01, with its exhaust wailing away NB between 19th avenue and Park Presidio in the Golden Gate Park on Tuesday (10/22). I was in my '94 SB. I also spotted a dark silver one on I-280 NB last Wednesday (10/14). I passed you and we exchanged a wave.

Help me find a mechanic please (for Porsche)

Oh, I forgot to mention that Marcel is an NSXer. You see NSXes being serviced there from time to time. His dad, Pierre owns a 300SL gull wing... Yep, a real deal.

Help me find a mechanic please (for Porsche)

I take all of my cars to Marin Auto Works at the corner of Miller and La Goma, diagonally across the intersection from the infamous 2am Club in Mill Valley. The owners, Pierre and Marcel are as honest as anyone, and they do good jobs. If she works in the city, she could easily hop on the...

Hi, Harry, I was commuting to Russian River for the last couple of weeks, so I had some fun drives on Roblar Avenue, Pepper Road, Bohemian Highway, and other back roads.
