    State Inspection places in Houston?

State inspection place I've been going here since I posted this question two years ago. They have the equipment, and I've had no issues passing. Kwik Kar Lube & Tune 11910 Hwy 6 Sugar Land, TX 77498

    State Inspection places in Houston?

Thanks for the suggestions. Holding out for a location closer to Sugar Land. My son suggested Ferrari of Houston. That could be interesting!

    State Inspection places in Houston?

It's that time of year again for me. I had a hell of time passing last year because of several issues. The first place (Goodyear Tire in Sugar Land) said that because of the aluminum block, their equipment could not read the RPMs to do the two speed test. (This is a 1995, which has ODBII, but...

    Official Houston NSX sightings

The red one was mine. I loaned it to my daughter and son-in-law to run in the Susan B. Kumon rally.

Speedo off by 3mph, OEM 15/16

I agree with the above. I adjusted mine because it was reading fast, and I figured it was artificially putting miles on the odometer as well (well, maybe not). I didn't use a dyno, just a GPS and it worked fine. As far as it being linear across the speed range - it probably doesn't matter...

Speedo off by 3mph, OEM 15/16

You can adjust the speedo. There are posts on here how to do it (I did mine, which was off by 3mph @ 70 mph). However, I would guess the adjustment in linear across the speed range, so it may make your speedo off at the lower speeds where it is correct now. Nothing ventured, nothing gained...

Too good to be true!! Iphone and Pandora = awesome tunes free

Pandora also works great on Windows Mobile phones. I've been using it for three months on my Moto Q9c. Good stuff, no issues. Just works.

    Shaving..

I've been shaving daily for 30+ years and have used every thing out there in all that time, blade and electric. Switching from blade to electric or vice versa: give it time because your face needs two or three weeks to adjust, believe it or not. Once adjusted though, I think most men would be...

    Took apart my broken visor

Why not just buy a black OEM replacement visor in good working order and cover it with matching grey, ivory, or tan leather? I would imagine any decent auto upholstery shop could do this for not too much money. Just a thought.

Please Help With Engine Stall/Idle Problem

I sent a reply to your PM, but I will also post it here and add some more specifics as to what I did. I probably did not do the cleaning in the most thorough, correct way in that I did not first remove the air cleaner before cleaning the TB. I just removed the air hose to expose the air side...

Planning a trip - Need input

Paris would be the best IMO. In fact, September is a perfect time to go - just after the heavy tourist season (although there are crowds all year long). The good thing about Paris is that you can easily spend the entire 10 days there and not run out of things to do or see. You'd save a lot of...
