I’VE PUT A LOT OF MONEY, TIME AND EFFORT INTO GETTING THIS CAR INTO THE BEST SHAPE POSSIBLE. OVER $30,000 SPENT ON THE CAR DURING MY OWNERSHIP.
I HAVE ALL RECORDS SINCE I BOUGHT IT (EXCEPT WHEEL RCPT), AND SOME FROM BEFORE.
ALL MAJOR WORK WAS DONE BY FACTORY NSX-CERTIFIED MECHANIC STEVE GOODING UNTIL HIS PASSING IN 2013. SINCE THEN, A MAJOR MECHANICAL REFRESH WAS DONE BY NSX SPECIALIST BEN AT DAISY AUTO (WHICH TOOK OVER 3 MONTHS), AND A SMALLER MECHANICAL REFRESH WAS DONE BY NSX SPECIALIST SOURCE 1.
(I'M TYPING A LOT OF THIS IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE I'VE LOST A LOT OF SIGHT IN ONE EYE AND IT'S EASIER FOR ME TO SEE, SO PLEASE BEAR WITH IT)
IMPROVEMENTS/ UPGRADES/ MAJOR MAINTENANCE:
2/19, 54k miles- New Interstate MTP-35 battery
10/16, 49k- Mechanical refresh at NSX specialist Source 1 Auto, over $7K spent- EPS rack rebuilt by D1 Guy, new Koyo radiator, clutch/brake switches, shock bump stops, left tie rod, brake master cylinder, transmission fluid (Synchromesh cocktail)
12/15, 46k- New OEM shocks
7/15, 45k- New Hugo window guides, Hugo window kit done 9/10, both by Hugo, NSX window specialist
11/14, 43k- Major mechanical refresh at NSX specialist Daisy Auto, over $10K spent- New OEM year 2000+ ABS and LMA upgrades from Science of Speed, (stupidly expensive) front/rear targa seals, dash panel by defroster vents/temp sensor, clutch master/slave, thermostat, TW sensor, air/fuel filters, ignition switch, negative battery cable + battery hold down assembly, TB/WP/valve adj., other drive belts, VTEC gaskets, speaker amps rebuilt by BrianK, general cleaning and improvement including throttle body.
The injectors were also cleaned and calibrated at that time by RC Engineering. This was one of the best things I've had done, the car really runs strongly and pulls hard after having that done.
5/14, 42k- Two new Angus Hi-flow cats
2/13, ?- New SOS s/s braided brake lines
12/12, ?- New HP fuel hoses
5/12, 38k- BrianK repaired CCU board
3/12, 38k- New Denso starter, oem brake pads, SOS Centric Sportstop rotors

5/10, 34k- New targa clamshell trim. New trunk rubber trim also done around this time (no receipt for trunk trim)
9/9, 33k- New oem clutch
Details
ALWAYS GARAGED, ADULT DRIVEN, NEVER WRECKED, NEVER SMOKED IN. PROFESSIONALLY DETAILED TWICE A YEAR, EXTENSIVE PAINT CORRECTION DONE.
CAREFULLY MAINTAINED, OIL CHANGED EVERY YEAR OR ~3K MILES W/ FULL SYNTHETIC.
RUNS STRONG. NOT TRACKED.
INTERIOR IS ~9.7, NO FLAWS, LEATHER LOOKS GREAT.
EXTERIOR IS ~ 9.5.
EVERYTHING WORKS GREAT- A/C BLOWS COLD, WINDOWS ARE FAST, RADIO, CD CHANGER
STOCK EXCEPT BEAUTIFUL 17/18 BRONZE VOLK CE28N’S, TEIN S-TECH SPRINGS (DON’T HAVE ORIGINAL PARTS), KOYO RADIATOR, BRAKE ROTORS AND CATS AS DESCRIBED BELOW. THESE UPGRADES, ALONG WITH THE OEM YEAR 2000+ ABS UPGRADE DESCRIBED ABOVE, HAVE TAKEN ABOUT 58 LB OF WEIGHT OFF OF THE CAR. THE TOP OF THE LINE FORGED VOLK WHEELS COST OVER $3600 AND ARE 6 TO 7 LB LIGHTER EACH THAN THE STOCK WHEELS, A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF UNSPRUNG WEIGHT.
HAGERTY VALUES AN EXCELLENT CONDITION ‘95 AT $77,500 AND I BELIEVE THIS MEETS THAT CONDITION OR IS AWFULLY CLOSE- https://www.hagerty.com/apps/valuationtools/1995-Acura-NSX
I’M VERY CAREFUL WITH MY CAR, AND DO LITTLE THINGS TO HELP IT LAST LONGER: WARM IT UP FOR 10 MINUTES BEFORE GOING TO HIGH RPM’S, RUN THE AC ONCE A WEEK FOR 10 MINUTES IN WINTER, RUN THE HEAT ONCE A WEEK FOR 10 MINUTES IN SUMMER. I ALMOST ALWAYS DRIVE IT AT LEAST 20-25 MINUTES, SO IT GETS FULLY WARMED UP. I’M 64 AND THIS IS THE FOURTH CAR I’VE HAD IN MY LIFE.
Also has SOS carbon fiber gauge trim, Acura red-stitched shift knob, Covercraft custom-fit UVS100 windshield sunshade.
Only issues- rock chip in windshield repaired, slightly visible, slight squeak in a dash panel which a shop addressed with foam pads, generally stops squeaking after you drive a bit.
I have the original owner’s manual in its leather case, window sticker, car cover bag, and the pump, jack, and tools from the trunk.
Clean title in hand, no loan.
A lot more pictures are available, please email me if you would like to see them.
