2005 with 1900 miles. Really?

One of my favorite cars. Now I'm looking for one. I found this in South Florida. Could it be for real? Only 1900 miles? How easy is it to disconnect the odometer on the NSX?

I'm new here and this is my first post. Welcome

I would check the CarFax to look for odometer roll backs. Its pretty easy to take the gauge cluster out, but not sure about reseting the odometer.

that's very low milage. Price is cheap to me, they get a lot of money for cars with that low a milage. If you like the car and color I'd make an offer and get it.

Ok so it's possible it has 1900 miles.
As for colors in order I like White, Blue, Silver Yellow and Black. I'm looking at 2 this weekend. Both are black.
I haven't told my wife yet.

my 2005 has 4100 miles on it. I would say, 1900 miles is on the low end but not impossible. Personally, I do not like black as it tends to hide all the lines of the car. plus, it will show the flaws. it was last on my list. but make sure to check all vin tags, check for paint work, and give the location, make sure it has had no weather related damage. just do your homework. Car looks like a very good deal tho.

The price doesnt seem crazy to me either, when you have a car like this...the ball is in the seller's court. If you dont want mine, try to find another with miles like this:wink:

yeah people really baby these cars sometimes and they deserve it a lot of them become weekend drivers Im still amazed I found a 96 with 30,000 miles and I feel thats a good price for the last year they made these cars I still remember the one day I found a 2001 or 2000 with only 996 miles

That is very low mileage, even for a 2005. I bought a 17 year old 1991 with 29,000 miles. That is 1700 miles per year! this is 300 miles per year. It may have the original oil in the engine.
As far as replacing the odometer. possible.
disconnecting the odometer: speed sensor on the transmission. check engine light; OBD II will record that.

Our 2004 had only 2,800 miles on it when we bought it in 2007. The first owner even flat-bedded it to the dealer for service...

Price seems fair considering this f****G crisis ... about the miles, yeah they are low, be glad

..... got my 97 with 58K miles .... that is 4.8K per YEAR, some people (like me) drive mostly on weekends ... good luck Jim, one thing .. YOU'LL NEVER regret moving from your hot S2k to the X ... never!

Definitely possible. Mine only has 3800 miles, and I've even made an effort the past year to drive it more. At this time last year, I only had 2000 miles.

Not sure why all the surprise regarding the mileage on this car...there are probably many, many 2002+ NSXs with less than 5K miles on them. 1k mi/year is very reasonable for a strictly weekend/vacation driver which many NSXs are.

Heck, you can find 1991 NSXs with under 5,000 miles if you look hard enough. Several of these are listed on Ebay and Autotrader every year. There have been 2 1991s in recent memory with ~500 miles.

I'm not surprised by any mileage on an NSX anymore. < 2K mi on a 2005 is well within the spectrum of possible mileage IMO.
