I was hoping for a little imput into a sudden stock clutch problem that has arose. Over the last week, I have noticed it hard at times to go into neutral out of 2nd or 1st when coming to a stop. At that time the clutch pedal felt normal as well as everthing else.
Today, the clutch feels different once the car is started and shifting begins.
Turn off the car and the clutch pedal feels as it always has for 4 years.
What I'm feeling is the pedal doesn't want to rise up the same.
It feels like its sticking a little, but not really.
The force required to push it in is higher a bit.
This is really hard to explain.
Once again, turn off the car and everything feels normal.
I checked the fluid level, perfect.
I inspected the hood area, no leaking.
I inspected the engine bay area, no leaking.
The clutch was just out of my car 4000 miles ago and I installed a new disk that is closest to the flywheel, the other was well within spec.
I am stumped.
Let me know if you have any ideas.
