Same story here...
Same thing happened to me while I was stopped at a red light behind a MB SUV. The woman behind the wheel decided she did not want to wait for the red light, and wanted to go around the cars waiting for the light, cut though a parking lot, and get to the Laundrymat ASAP. She put the SUV in reverse and backed up without turning her head. Claimed she didn't see me, I guess red isn't bright enough, I may have to add orange and yellow stripes.
I had to follow her to the laundrymat, only to find out that she doesn't have her paperwork on her, since she only lives three blocks away. Three weeks, two estimates to repaint the front bumper @$325, and eight phone calls latter, I picked up a check. As she handed me the check she told me I was too close to the back of her SUV (bs), and this is her first accident in twenty years of driving.
Then she asked me about a good bodyshop that would replace the cracked piece under her SUV's bumper. Score: NSX 1/SUV 0
