Anyone Ever Replaced The Window Boot ??

Is there anyone out there who has replaced their torn window boots located up near the rear view mirrors ?? Both of mine are torn and it drives me crazy, not to mention the wind noise being generated. Thank for your help / feedback.

I haven't had to do mine but if I remember correctly its a very expensive part.

I believe the boots are $600 for a single side and a long day of installation.

I use black RTV to fill in the cracks and stop the wind noise....

Are you talking about the triangular sash mounted on the door or the weatherstriping that seals the length of the top of the windows?

The front window sashes are a hundred and something apiece, and probably a half hour to an hour to replace. The door handle sashes are the expensive, ones, being $600 or so, and a bear to replace.

Yep, that's the front sash.
