I'm thinking of taking a ride down sometime during the event and was wondering if anyone else had any plans to go. I know it's pricey during the event but it is a spectacular event. Anyone going?

I have actually never made it out there before but depending on details and prices Id love to try.

I would like to go as well. It would be nice but highly unlikely that Acura would have an NSX corral this year. I'll check with Wei-Shen to see if there are any group plans.

Guys, here's the scoop.

The Four Points Sheraton (formerly the Chateau Elan Sebring) hotel has a nice VIP package that they will offer.

$35 includes parking, access to hotel and spectator lawn, all week and BBQ lunch Saturday from 12-3. You'd have to buy your own ticket to the 12 hour. If you plan to watch the race from the hotel and not enter the race pit and paddock you don't really need to buy a ticket. Please contact the hotel directly if you're interested in this deal. 863-655-6252.

We are not doing anything as a group this year. Acura is not having a car corral either. I will be out of town attending a conference in Park City Utah and the rest of the CMS gang will be at Homestead holding the second largest track event in Florida on 3/20-3/21!

I went last year .The hotel set up was great .Parking right out in front of the hotel .Seating in back of the hotel is turn #7 . This year they are throwing in a BBQ lunch for the same cost $35.00 per person .Plus you have access to the hotel facilities .Bring your own folding chair. We also had breakfast in there resturant when we arrived.

I just called and purchsed the "Gold" package for $35. Last year this was a great place to hang out and watch the races. Parking was a breeze, and there was a lot of room to stretch out on the lawn. I'm probably going to bring a bathing suit this year.

If anyone else is going from the South PBC area maybe we can caravan up.

I purchased the same package last week .I am driving up from Hollywood .Last year I drove up #27 .Its a pretty nice drive

I usually take Beeline and go through Indiantown. Rt 27 is a bit longer for me from where I live.

At least we have no shame about our bodies. I hope you and the Orlando crew wear something normal this year. The nerd Star Trek thing is getting old.
