Tentative schedule:

- head out saturday oct 15th, maybe meet up for breakfast near 101 & I-10
- leave about 9am or so, get there around 3pm
- find a cheap hotel to check into
- maybe hangout with some local primers and have dinner
- after sunday drive head back to phoenix around 5pm or so

Yeah, it won't be a shock if the first 7-10 peeps on the waiting list get in on the drive. Typically, enough people on the initial list drop off between the announcement and the actual event, freeing up spots for the first batch of waitlisters.
