Are there any bare metal NSX's out there? I looked around for some photos and found nothing.

It may be an interesting look with a carbon fiber hood and spoiler.

If someone did do this, how shiny could you get the aluminum? I'm thinking something like this, but it may not be possible:

There is a local nsx owner in my town who's in the process of looking for a salvage nsx for a dedicated track caer project. His plans include strippng the nsx down to bare metal and having a brushed alum finish.

Hi,

no to rain in anyone's parade, but that qorks for aluminium panels...but bumpers, sideskirts, etc, are made of ABS plastic, which is a "little" (read "impossible") hard to do unless using paint  and i have a paint i found here that replicates that look, but i will use it on the center console and door inserts, to match billet interior door handles.... i don't know for sure, but i think it's not a proper paint to us on the exterior...

I thought we had laws in this country against how much % your vehicle could be reflective.... for obvious reasons.

It sounds like no one has attempted it, would anyone like to take the plunge?

I remember seeing those photos of the Jaguar a few years back...sure looks pretty.

Kinda how it might look. The CF hood would look nice.
