OK, there has been a lot of interest and a lot of questions regarding the new Anytime Racing exhaust systems. There will be two different systems, each based on the same basic design. This is a totally clean-sheet, true dual-exhaust design that happens to fit the stock NSX exhaust form factor perfectly. It’s a similar system as used in the current Corvette C5’s. Here is a spy shot of the first prototype setup before final assembly, so that you can get an idea of how it works:

The two cans will be welded together to fit perfectly in the stock exhaust location, so it will look like one large can, but will actually be two separate chambers. We have not yet finalized the tips design or weather it will be single or twin tips. The system is being made by a major (household name) exhaust manufacturer, and will be sold exclusively through Anytime Racing in much the same way that B&B makes exhausts for RM Racing.
There will be an unconditional lifetime / million mile warranty that IS NOT voided simply because you use forced induction or nitrous or whatever. These systems are being developed right now on supercharged cars. Unlike everything else out there, they will be optimized and designed specifically for forced induction use. Dyno testing is going on right now, and should be done by the end of next week.
There will be two different versions. The flagship race model will be all-titanium, and bolt right up to the headers, without provision for cats. We may have a bit of flex pipe at the flange for flexibility, depending on the initial beta test reports. The race model is technically not street legal, because there is no provision for cats, but the exhaust note will not be so loud as to get you pulled over. We are engineering it to meet the new sound regulations in place at Laguna Seca.
The Street version will be set up essentially the same way as the race version, but will be made of stainless, and will work with the stock cats.
The first batch will fit 91-94 cars. Later perhaps next month, we will start on a version to fit the later cars.
Please, Please be patient. Like the new Basch Boost supercharger, I promise this exhaust will be worth waiting for. We are living in exciting times with new products such as these coming out in the near future. We will have our new website up in about a week at
www.anytimeracing.com Please stay tuned for pictures, dyno charts, sound clips, and the like.
We plan on having a car fitted with a prototype exhaust, along with dyno charts at the next CalCoastalNSX meeting.
