Great to catch up with gtjim with his new black NSX and have a chinwag about extracting more power out of his new auto toy when a few friends turned up M5, GT3 then a R8 that was only a few hours old.

This is one awsome car my friend who has been an NSX owner in the past said the R8 will do to the supercar industry over the next few years as the NSX did in the early 1990's. Only time will tell and this comes from someone who has has just about every supercar brought to Australia over the past 20years.

the NSX's and R8 make a fine threesome, but that R8 needs to be lowered ... it can still nose over gutters !

Black cars look so good when they're clean and shiny!

The R8 seems far more curved / natural than the NSX with its angular 80s-style lines... which got more attention from people walking down the street?

yeah but white is the new black

That was what the new R8 owner said there's a white R8 in Adelaide as well but it doesnt seem to work that well. Not like the NSX-R where white is a killer colour.

yep, it sure was great to catch up and put a face to the name. i have to agree the R8 is an absolutely awsome looking car.
