Thought I’d share a few pictures of my newest “toy” in the household because after selling my white LE Busa' my garage just felt empty and so I went on the hunt for a new replacement. Summer is the best time to enjoy the ride and I still get 45 mpg+

(I have a feeling both the nsx and s2000 will be in the garage more often these days)

Bike is stock for “now” hehehe

see ya guys around
Rick

I know how you feel with not having bike. i bought yamaha r1 last summer bc i missed riding and my nsx just sat in garage. guess im not putting to many miles on her haha. you just cannot beat the feeling of going out and smashing on the throttle of a fast motorcycle!

I have an 07 gsx-r 1000 that I ride... I love 2 wheels but I do enjoy cruising my car more often. A nice sunday ride is definitely a good time on the bike, I just have been riding so long it's hard to keep it on 2 wheels
2 Wheels < 1 Wheel

No other 2-wheel riders here????

Yea I cannot have sports cars without at least one bike in the garage!

This is one way to put less miles on my nsx for sure

I'm with ya buddy:biggrin: It's actually my life! I help run one of the largest motorsports dealers in the southeast.

I definately like the your old white BUSA more. It matches your NSX. Why did you sell it if you were going to pick up the same model?
Fast car + fastest stock bike = awesome!!

Awwww, I miss my sportbike. This fall maybe..... just maybe I'll get another. This time, I spy something white and italian or red and italian :)

848S or Supermotard S.

Hi

I'm a bike rider. I had to sell my Kawasaki ZX9R 1998 streetbike as I went around just too damn fast. The risk was way to high.

Then I sold the ZX9R and bought a Suzuki GSX-R1000 K2 instead. Yeah I know. Even more crazy than the ZX9R, but this was a track bike.

I moved the crazyness to the track and did pretty well as I was eight overall in my class in 2006 here in Norway.

Then I was involved in a bad accident 2 years ago as a passenger on a snowmobile going 2 km/h. I fell off and hit my head real bad.

There will never be any more races on track for me. But I will ride on the track for fun.

Now I would like to get back on a streetbike again. I would like a Kawasaki ZXR400. They look real good and is fun to ride and I will have fun at a much lower speed than before.

There is a old thread that have been resurrected in the off topic forum about 250cc bikes. I posted a picture of the ZXR400 I now want there.

Actually my NSX will probably be featured in the largest bike magazine here in Norway with a Hayabusa. 90's icons or something like that. It will be this summer some time.

Regards

Well I bought the 2006 white Busa’ which was a Limited Edition only made in 2006 because I wanted it to match my NSX. But comparing it to a 2008 was a no brainer as Suzuki changed SO MANY things on it that basically it’s a completely new animal. Besides the obvious cosmetic changes, the new one has more power, a 3-way electronic adjustable suspension and host of other features ~ quite simply I HAD TO HAVE ONE!

After a test ride I was “WOW’d” by it so much that it’s like comparing a 1991 NSX to a 2005 CTSC NSX. That’s how big the difference really is as the new bike feels amazingly lightweight like my R1. It’s a lot more nimble on the road than the old one and just feels more planted in corners. I don’t know what Suzuki did but the balance of this machine is amazing for its sheer size and weight.

Think of the Hayabusa as a S63 AMG in that it is cradles the owner in comfort but moves like a scud missile. Point it in any direction in ANY gear and just twist and you’re off like a rocket. Even with a passenger and my tank bag full of groceries (3 cartons of milk, some frozen dinners and my chocolate chip cookies) this thing is FAST and stable.

Italian race machines are nice but I would not survive 30 minutes because most of them are so damn uncomfortable. My girl hated the R1 and I know those bikes are horrible for rear passengers. I must have a bike that is comfy for both of us on decent road trips, etc.

This is what I just bought to keep my NSX company in my garage :biggrin::biggrin: Its not a Hayabusa, but it is the top of the line Big Wheel.:cool::biggrin:

Congrates on the new bike. My Uncle owns the Suzuki dealerships in my state. Been riding for years. I still remember when we got the first container of busa's back in the day. Got that thing off of the crate and a quick service and was off. Have fun and be safe.

I think the 2 wheeled brother for the NSX should be the Honda NSR.

Where is the loyalty here? You need cbr 600/1000rr's. Mines in the scrap yard now but it was fun while it lasted! Way too fast, can't imagine the busa. You guys be safe.

Nothing wrong with the CBR's - I had a CBR600F3 as my first bike in college.... :)

But honestly a 600 bike is too weak if you want to ride with a passenger. Just not enough power over hills and when you cross the bridges here in CA you get blown all over the place by cross winds.

600's make great track bikes though!

Ok, ok. Representing Honda here. My duo.

Picked up my NSX's 2-wheeled sibling last year ... A 2008 R6.

The NSX hasn't seen much action lately either - The bike just is just a whole different level of fun.

But Martin,
The NR 750 is made of unobtainium.
It is in a class even above the NSX's.
Saw one in the Honda Museum. Cool bike!
