i'm wondering... for this .75 tweeter what size is the hole in the triangle... is it also exactly .75

Be aware that to fluch mount the tweeter, you must cut away one of the metal support brackets directly behind the plastic triangle that helps hold the plastic triangle.

yes i understand that... actually its one big metal bracket with two clips in it... it looks like just half of it needs to be cut off to allow for the back of the tweeter to fit in.

i've asked sjones to post a picture if he can of his install with the triangle off so we can see the metal bracket in back and what his installer did to it.
