I always love those CC pics!Looking at the gullwing reminds me how wide cars have become. Also that Lancia scorpian was a car I considered in my younger days,I chose an alfa gtv instead. Those cars :fiat, lancia, alfa were the afordable sport compact/import cars we 40 somethings lusted after in our youth:smile:

As I sit in my office, starring outside I get depressed seeing pictures like this. We have 8 inches of rain so far with more coming and its windy as hell outside. A big ass tree feel right in front of my house and blocked the entire road.:frown: Sorry for my rant, enjoy your weather. Im coming to Encino, CA very soon and cant wait to attend the Crystal Cove event. Those cars are sick. You guys see more exotics in 1 day than I see all year.

i'll take two, yes...

The NSX'es look awesome, literally right-off the showroom floor type of detailing!

Has an Aston Martin DB5 made a cameo at CC, as of yet?!?

Re: i'll take two, yes...

Man, the F40 is still sexy. almost makes housing italian mechanics seem worth it. Interesting, i was unaware that lancia sold cars here. I thought it was a Saab sonnet at first, neat shape. most interesting thing we've ever had at our meets was a Skyline R32 GTR V spec II, but that only happened once.

John,

Thanks for the pics, although you only posted a pic of your NSX. The new wheels looks really good. Sorry, I couldn't make it, I had set my alarm clock at 4am, but the sleeping bug won.:frown:

I intended to take more, but the F40 and Porsche RSR (I believe its a clone) kept destracting me; when I got home I only had about 4 shots of my car, which were just various exposures of the one above.

There is this month's SCA meet coming up, so I am sure you will see (and hear) the car then... I love the new sound with the taitec straight pipes, it's exactly what I was looking for in an exhaust.

More pics. I can't believe it happens every week!

Allow me to pause and say this car blew me away the most. It's a 1966 427. We've all seen restored classics, but the thing is this car has never been restored. It is all original. Didn't peek under the hood, but it has fewer than 20,000 documented miles. And it's for sale. The owner confided that it is a FAST car...as long as you're only going in a straight line. It'll be a tough one to value without any real comps.

Pricey car. You eagle-eyes may notice the large dent and paint chip in the hood. OUCH!

I stop going to CC because it became redundant. It was always the same cars there. Then at one point it become a huge ferarri and lambo fest. It seems though by those pictures that its more diverse again. Maybe Ill swing by tomarrow.

Nice pics that F40 is my buddy ed's....he's a great guy. Good job on the pics.

wow! i dont know half of these cars names, and the other half ive never even seen!
...do you have to own a supercar to be able to attend one of these expos? cuz i'd sure like to go in there with my 97 integra gsr
