Deals have dried up?

Hey guys. New guy here.

Was planning on leasing another 911, but then recently learned about the $30K in Acura money, and am now actively searching for a good deal on an NSX.

Seems most cars left are in East Coast/Midwest. I've contacted many dealers, and the answers are usually the same. When asked about discounting, they mention the $30K rebate, and stop there. Then a few mention they can do a small discount of maybe 2%. And that's where they're holding.

So the lease deals I am getting are all above $2k per month on a 36m/5k lease.

What happened to the "cheap" lease deals I've read about on here at $1300 per month?

Anybody have any solid leads?

There were very few lease deals at that price and they were on mostly base cars. I got a nice discount off of my 2017 NSX and leased it for a fair price with a lot of negotiating. I probably could have done a little better, but the car was 99% of what I wanted. I think the ship has sailed on the deals that you are looking for.

There have been a few Nsx’s For sale for less than 130k for sale recently without lease recently. With just a couple thousand miles or less, Just gotta look. It might not be exactly what you want though or the specific car you’re looking for.

I guess most of the cars with lower MSRP are already gone. Seems most cars left are highly optioned. I can do without $30K worth carbon brakes and carbon fiber.

I think the residuals were lowered two point in January also. So that def makes the payments higher.

Still looking.

The two NSXs left in SoCal are never gonna sell. Called on both of them this weekend. It was comical. Both are highly-optioned, and both have 2500 miles worth of "marketing miles" on them, and both sales managers said "We are firm at sticker price. No discount." Ha. I guess they want to keep them on the showroom floor as decorations forever.

No good deals left, OP. Shoulda pulled the trigger last fall. Cars are going to be BTO from now on, so in my case I've moved on and plan to buy used, or keep my '99 for a long time. You'll probably get a better deal on a 911.

I think this will be a tough lesson to Acura. These cars are difficult to sell at higher prices. The market has spoken. If you're willing to hold out longer I'm off the opinion the prices will correct themselves to 2017 Fall levels again or slightly above. JIMHO

Cool  Hope the deal punches through for you.
Then you can post up some photos for us!

That sucks. I was looking one around the 135k price range.

I guess i'll just have to wait until the prices come down from where they are and go the used route. Not sure how Acura intends to sell their 18's.

AXXL, which deal have you been looking at and how much did you get it for?

I contacted the dealers in so cal too and they're a total B@#! to deal with. Wouldn't budge on their price at all. I ended up just telling them to enjoy having very expensive floor decorations.

I wonder what dealers plan to do with the 20+ or so odd cars littered throughout the US sitting on lots???

We are already in 2018 and trying to sell a 2017 is already hard enough with any brand but to do so with little to no discounts while the 2018's are here is gonna suck.

My deal is for a Casino White car. Pretty well optioned. Signing the deal today actually.

Those two social cars will remain expensive floor decorations, especially if they still have them after the $30K rebate has expired.

One of the cars I was negotiating on was had a sticker of $168. They would discount it $4K, which brings the effective price to $134K.

I don't see how they are going to sell them for full price. One of the cars I called on last week was a 2018. I didn't realize it at the time, but the lease quote I got was just shy of $3k per month. I told the salesperson that there must be a mistake. His answer was no. His number were correct. That is what they cost without the rebate. He said that once all the 17's were gone and so is the rebate, that people would be willing to pay full price. I tried not to laugh when he said that.

wait and only offer the $30k. most dealers believe there should be some profit in this car, at least more than your average MDX. thats fair. they have 2.5 more months to sell the car before the incentive money theoretically runs out.

Found this posting in a thread on there, would this be the record if true?

My NSX gets put on a transport truck to day. Finally.

Never had a car deal take so long to come together. 10 friggin days. I realize out of state deals take longer, but sheesh. Acura should streamline the process; paperwork shouldn't take more than an hour.

$2k a month is still a great deal, consider some Mclaren 570S or lambo 580-2 after some deep discount still over $3k a month. 911 Turbo S may be somewhere $2500 or so ....

Lambo or Mclaren should worth more than NSX, but do they worth 30 or 40% more ?

May be those $1,380 or $1,390 a month is with some money down? And also super low km allowance? And 4,5 month ago, buyout for a 2017 car should be higher than now, you may pay few hundred dollar more per month now, but your buyout will be lower at the end of the lease, so the math will be the same ... May be interest rate is also slightly higher now?

Being in Canada, we don't have that huge incentive from Acura Canada as Acura US, and not many new 2017 NSX left in dealers, while my local dealer called me few month ago they were willing to do a deal on the last NSX they have, I jumped ahead and did it! (As I know once the snow melt here, they will be all gone.....) but I didn't lease, as 6% interest isn't convincing.....

here in pa lease tax plus sales tax is 9%....00018 money factor is around .4%...
