To be honest I never really paid much attention to those. Damn, those are nice. I may get these coming my way.

sweet post pics lol. they also come in frp for 600$ for the people that wanna color match em. but i like the cf version myself lol
I don't think the reward is there functionally to justify the cost. Most people add these for bling IMHO.
I think they ruin the lines of the car. As well, I'm not sure how much functionality there is as ram air is negligible in providing increase power. Maybe for additional cooling.
I love them on a black car. I'll buy a set if you do!!!!:biggrin:
Maybe if they were a bit more edgy? Sort of like the Aventador they look sort of fat to me I think getting some more air in to the engine bay couldn't hurt and if you're after something different for looks why not

they look good on dark coloured cars, imo need to be paint matched or they stick out too much.
I love them too but $750 for 2 pieces of CF just seems like I'm getting bent over...........if I could score a deal............or maybe group buy..........I would be on it.

IMHO they look better painted on a car with no other CF and better bare on cars with more contrast.
To answer the OP, cost has to be the factor. No performance bang for the buck as it's purely aestetic.

Personally i live them.
But they do change the flowing lines and gives more of a aggressive look. I can see why people wouldn't like them.
I didn't paint mine as i ordered the carbon version.
I'm not sure if it's just me but i'm sure i can hear the intake slightly more with these fitted.
