If this is still the same weekend as the s2ki S2000 'Wake The Dragon' meet I will be there with both my NSX and my S2000. See you there!! :)
 
I was going to make it this year, but I have a charity event in TN that same weekend. I was tentative on making it on Easter Weekend, since I prepare for this event for almost a month ahead of time, but now I know I am out!:mad: Too bad it could not have been the following weekend, as I would have been in for sure!

The best place to stay is in Cherokee. Robbinsville has absolutely no nightlife and one lousy hotel. Cherokee has tons of hotesl since Harrah's operates their casino there. The Holiday Inn is very nice and has a nice restaurant to boot.
I know several scenic drives from Cherokee to the Dragon and the Cherohala Skyway which are breathtaking and a lot of fun.

First timers should check out www.tailofthedragon.com which highlights not only The Dragon itself but all the other fantastic roads in the area.

When are the GA guys going up? I am going to head up on Thursday about 10 AM from Atlanta... Any of you want to car pool up... I am going up the fun way... I say add to the itenarary some interaction with the "Wake the Dragon" group cause I now know of 3 NSX owners that are going to be with that meet.

I will be where the S2000 group is staying since my wife is there with our S2000 and everything. If you guys want to stay close by that would be great!! S2000's and NSX's mix well....VTEC FOR EVERYONE!! :D

Bryson City is right down the road from Cherokee and they sell beer, wine and liquor so you can stock your hotel rooms if you're so inclined. I refrain from drinking up there for not only the obvious reasons but the constant state of euphoria acheivedfrom driving those incredible roads releases enough endorphons to keep you very happy the natural way!
 
I think we'll go with Hugh's suggestion of staying at the Holiday Inn in Cherokee. The rates are reasonable and this area is central to all the roads I have planned. The first post has been updated to reflect this.

I would like to take a spin in that...I am thinking of going SC next year but nobody around here has a car to test out!! :frown:

They're staying at Fontana Village. I'll call them and check to see what they still have available for that weekend. If I go, I'll probably head up a day or two early because the Dragon is a LOT less crowded on weekdays.

As it stands right now, I'm planning on heading up on the 19th so I can enjoy the roads for a couple of days before the weekend warriors arrive. Then after the weekend I'm gonna drive up to NYC for business.

I'm planning on staying at the Holiday Inn in Cherokee unless you have room for me at Fontana Village. Could you check on that and give me a call Mitch?
