Grand Tetons and Yellowstone

I'm not a National Parks kind of guy, but I had a 4 day layover in Jackson, WY this week and I have to say that I was astonished during my day I spent at Yellowstone. I found myself walking around the park thinking of all the people that won't ever bother and they have no idea what a beautiful natural site they are missing.

CL - head north to Glacier National Park and Jasper (canada), my next favorite is Yosemite. I put those three way ahead of Yellowstone.

Yellowstone is beautiful, but if you haven't seen the other national parks here you're missing the same experience, only different scenery.

I will be meeting him out there and hiking to Disappointment Peak.... Not quite the Grand, but still 11,000 + feet.

You are also correct that most people have no clue what they are missing. Sometimes even when they are there, and are too consumed with their damn phone and text messages.
