I would be cautious of most aftermarket hoods. It seems fitment issues are quite common unless you go for a high option. I'd probably stick to OEM if I were you. Hopefully the damage can be repaired!
Looks good, but how do you feel about the hood catches? I'd want to know how much damage they had to do cutting the hood to fit them and can it be reversed? Another option would be to reach out to Chris at SoS or Christian at ATR. They both stock used hoods. What do you guys think about this one? It's local and black.

I'm sure everyone has heard about the crazy storm that Houston had this week. Luckily our house was ok. I wish I could say the same thing about the NSX.
Tree vs NSX
Does it look fixable or should I start shopping for another hood?
Here is one:
so now that you have made your 10 quota what will you do with your PM powers?Congrats!
Honestly, that's quite repairable.I finally got a hood but when I got it home I noticed that one of the corners was slightly bent. Sight… can’t seem to catch a break.

FWIW I think there is a black hood listed in the classifieds section. It's in Seattle so not sure what shipping looks like, but I've been able to use Greyhound to ship large parts in the past.

it might be worth it to bring it to a PDR specialist and see if they can work it straight with it mounted on the car. They might not have a lot of room to work with but it's a possibility I would explore before having them outright repair and repaint it.Correct, but I was hoping to avoid the body shop altogether. However, since it’s going to be there in the near future, I might as well have a few of the other spots looked at.
I drove my black NSX from Houston to Madison, NC almost 20 years agoI drove all the from Houston to Madison, MS.
