If somebody is looking for a rare 97-01 coupe JH4NA2131WT000036

The CTSC is listed in the text description. That car is indeed a good find. 45-49k seems reasonable as well.

Yes repainted bumper. Color match not good. I have talked with them and I would buy the car but I just looked at a CTSC in my area and compression/leakdown was an issue on a car with 20K mi less. They won't run at comp or leakdown. Since it is 2400 mi away it may not be worth a plane ticket to check it out for me.

Thats has to be one of the best OE looking NSX's Ive ever seen. Ive always been a huge fan of the factory 97-01 Coupes with black roofs. The price in insane, but It's gorgous.

Insane meaning too high? I thought it was priced right given it's rarity and CTSC.

I figured insane as in HIGH. Miles aren't exactly low and for that type of money, your close to 02+ NSX territory. Its a hard sale, to any already soft market, IMO.

Have to agree, great looking NSX that would benefit from a few 02 tweaks, just need to buy a few $$ less to allow for mods. Another great color combo we dot get here

I agree the price is a bit high. I think around $45K would be the max, but of course the price posted is their asking price.

I think $45K would be a great deal for it being what it is. I agree $45K would be the most I'd pay for that NSX if it were a T. Miles are average and I'd put it into a B+/A- category. The paintwork/damage however probably justifies a max of $45K though.

There simply cannot be many NA2 black-top coupes floating around. This car is ultra-rare. And I think the black top always looked best with silver.

I would have a hard time buying an S/C NSX from someone other than the person who owned it. The NA2/coupe combo is a great find though. That would be a great candidate for an '02 conversion too!

My 91 interior looks better than that, they should at least condition the leather to make it a little nice looking for a sale.:frown:

Whoever ends up buying this, please please please don't do an '02 conversion. The car is a rare color combo, has some historical value, and is perfect as is.

Good Point, too bad it looks like it has been reshot in the front already...

Agreed:wink: I love modding my cars but this one is an instant classic:wink:

As long as it was a CTSC and all the work was documented and done by a reputable shop I wouldn't have a problem. Of course I'd only be willing to pay a few thousand more for it.

And I'm normally in favor of doing the 02+ conversion but in this case this is a very rare car that should be preserved as is--except for that paintwork of course...

That is (or looks to be) a seriously beautiful car. If I were shopping today that thing would be sold.
