The previous owner of stopped by my dealership to trade it in on a 2006 M3 SMG with 6k miles but he passed because our car had no sunroof. Which I happened to think was pretty cool. I didnt do a full appraisal but I wasnt too impressed. Seemed a little ratty. Big miles too, but priced right. Look at the dealer selling that thing

On the surface it looks just a tad rough. Both seats have bolster wear and more than I would have thought there would be - especially on the passenger side. There are a couple of nicks - but if there isn't some accident damage on this one I would be surprised. But if there isn't and it's truly clean this is a damn good deal for an 05. Would make me curios but I would be anticipating some painting myself if I bought this one. Like I say it's just a tad rough. Rear bumber and the spot at center of the front bumper - that's something I'd have to have professionally taken car of. So if there isn't any paint work there should be and most likely will be.

The only problem I see with this one is it from the North and worse yet, Queens area. It could have had a rough couple a years. A couple of scrapes on the bumper wouldn't let me rule this out.
If I didn't have my 02 right now, I would be all over this one.

I too belive this car has had a rough life. The last 5 years have not been kind to this car. Nothing major, but the body marks and bolster wear does tell a story on how the car was cared for.
Still, for the price, it may be fair.

It looks like both front and rear bumpers need to be repainted.

Replace out the seats with red ones and red carpet.. fix a couple minor paint flaws, add NSXR spoiler, lower and add some very nice wheels.. and call it a day.

I agree with HIJACKER on this one. This would be a good way to get into a clone NSX R for not a bad entry price at all. Yeah, you have to repaint the bumpers, get the seats redone in red and a couple other small things. But, this car would be a great eye catcher again. IMHO atleast.

Not to mention that its an 05 at this price and Oscar pointed out, in couple of years you are more then likely to break even on it after you have had some fun enjoying the car.

Good buy IMO I just dont have the 52k to fork over, or the fondness of the frogeyes.....sorry :biggrin:

I disagree, it looks like it was taken into the dealer on a regular basis.
Perhaps the oil changes, didn't show up or he brought it to another place to have just oil changes or did them himself.

Agreed. Someone is going to get this car for $48k, paint the bumpers, put some leather conditioner on the seats and possibly have a nice NSX at a great price. Hopefully the new owner joins Prime and shares details.
