thanks for that, is the pricing difference NA1 vs NA2 or something else as well?

These are designed around a 90-94 exhaust layout, although when running a full exhaust system you can swap in the different adapter to make them fit.
Just like we'd do with a full TaiTec exhaust on a NA2 using a NA1 system as that's simpler doesn't effect anything (probably lighter and cleaner)

Can the headers replace stock '98, pre-LEV NA2 headers without modification ? (stock or stock-like exhaust system)
Also I guess that at this price, they clear the chassis cross member without cutting (has been a problem on low cost headers) ?

Yes these will fit NA2, and yes fitment is perfect.
