LED Taillight project

Hello,

Ok I'm starting a new thread to chronicle this endeavor. I've been communicating with Martin on the forums for the design to work out the quirks.

Martin-
"slip-in" design is next to impossible, not enough clearance to fit the LEDs in.

Now I've obtained a taillight courtesy of nsxhk to build the prototype.

...results are promising.

First-off, best of luck w/ this project @ hand. I will be keeping an eye on the progress as I'd love to acquire a set in due time if the final product is up to anticipated expectations as well as being at a fair & competitive price-point.

Secondly, have some sort of final price-scheme & time-frame in mind (ie. materials & labor/time, turnover/completion-rate, etc') so as keen consumers we aren't surprised/shocked at the final customization/fabrication costs and you aren't disappointed at the end to have few if any interested parties. And keep in mind, you snooze -> you lose... as there are a few others who are under-taking this project as we speak!

Lastly, choose another file-host for your images as "yourfilehost" is generally meant for p0rn & inappropriate viral/obscene files, etc'... it is beyond me why you even chose such a host as many individuals generally are unable or unwilling to goto such a site due to work/home computer restrictions. I can suggest www.imageshack.us, www.imagehosting.gr, or www.xs.to for your future file uploads.

Looking forward to see your finish product, I have no doubt your finish product will look amazing, like a boxing match, fair and square. I can never get people who don't understand the concept of free market and fair competition.

The advantage you have is that you have a huge NSX owner base near you and you can perform the conversion and make the wait pain free. Make a good product, good price, and provide product support you are set. Wish you the best luck.

Exactly. My first page click had malware, so thankfully Avast caught it.
