I have 5 years of ownership with my car. My car has JGTC exhaust, 4.23 rp, and rps clutch so yes I have done some mods. It used to have the ARC filter, but I swapped it back with the stock box. And depending on the track, the nsx is a very capable car I am aware of that. There's also the arguments that miata drivers says to each other. You car will smoke an nsx in a parking lot autocross. Every car shines in it's own elements. Im just saying, the NA1 nsx needs more oomph. And dont tell me 20 more hp ala NA2 is sufficient.
And too the arm chair spec racer... yes I am aware that the nsx top speed is 168. I have taken it that fast before on a private airstrip but it needed a lot of room. What I was referring to is the 80-120 acceleration speed. Its just not enough. Maybe it's time for FI...
