Epic thread bump.
I own two (three if you count the project car my son and I are resurrecting, actually, he does all the work, I just buy the parts) Miatas. I have my '94 that I bought new and it still looks fantastic (original top and perfectly clear plastic back window), seats are perfect (always been under aftermarket seat covers). We also that our '90 former Spec Miata "Track Rat" with a '01 VVT motor, putting 145 HP at the rear wheels.
Yes, S2000 is a great car, but for carving up racetracks and autocross courses, Miatas are WAY fun.
