at least i now have the ability to walk into my garage and look at the car rain or shine. which is what i'll be doing for at least the remainder of this week.

for those of you wondering why i was so adamant about purchasing a red NSX, it should be readily apparent now.

i'm massively stoked to finally have this car, and my garage is now proper and complete...

she's just had all the services done, brand new tires put on, a full detail and was twice hand waxed. she's ready to go, if only the weather were...

not gonna say i hadn't thought about or shopped for a Prancing Horse emblem to fit in there too. but the NSX has always been my favourite. it does appear i need a larger garage however... :biggrin:

thanx folks. those two particular motorbikes are quite ridiculous. the 1098 in particular is an absolute monster. it's making 160+ rear wheel horsepower and 100 ft. lbs. of torque. you want wheelies at 120 mph? no problem, just twist the throttle. acceleration is absolutely mind blowing. not too long ago that bike completely decimated a Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera...

To be honest I like the 1098. My wife and I go to Laguna Seca every year for Moto GP and every time I see a 1098 I try and talk my wife in to one ... hasnt worked yet ...

perhaps if you offered to get her an 848 she might go for it?

i know Laguna well, fantastic track. i used to race all over this country (amoung other places) and instruct at the California Superbike School...

whats wrong with driving in the rain,

I think it fun sliding all over the place in a controlled manner.

cars are designed to protect us from the rain, not the owner protect the car from the rain.

what a sad life to be garaged locked up like a bad dog.

get out and drive it :frown:

Nice Garage. I REALLY REALLY miss my Ducati 900 Supersport.
It had the most wonderful (modified) exhaust sound.

Of course nice Red NSX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my 900SS CR has a 944 big bore engine with high compression pistons. it's got 41mm flatslide carbs, magnesium wheels, full hand made Giacomoto exhaust, etc. it puts out an additional 25 to 30 horsepower and is an amazing streetbike. so much fun.

but alas, this is not the Ducati website...

...therefor i have indeed been out driving the car. and i absolutely love my NSX. it is amazingly precise and controllable to slide around in the wet or dry. within the confines of the law and speed limits of course! now time to wash it and throw it back in the garage.
