Just bought a 91 sebring silver last month, It has 20,000 miles bone stock, I want to change the stock rims, Been looking at the volk gtc, What do you guys think looks the best on silver, Want to go 17- 18s what do you think about black. Thanks.

Congrats on the wonderful find!! How did you come across such a gem? If you have pictures we would love to see them. Have a great day! Enjoy the car!

Congrats on your sebring silver NSX, that my favorite color. IMO 17/18 is the best wheel setup for the NSX. I think GT-C in gunmetal will look great, you can go wrong with Volks.

Just get wheels that fits with the right offset.

Congrats, and welcome to Prime. Any pics of your NSX?

Congrats and Welcome  I would would recommend Volks. Very impressive and strong Rim. I'm partial to BBS myself. If I ever get rid of my HRE's, I may go BBS. What a great find on a low mileage NSX:eek:

Congrats. on the new car. IMO, I think silver wheels look best on silver cars. Post a side pic. of your car and ask some of our Photochop experts to put some different style and color wheels on your car to see which you like better.

BTW- We have several Florida NSX events yearly. Watch www.nsxflorida.com and send your email to Wei-Shen, the FL. chapter President, so he can keep you updated. Next weekend we have 21 NSX's going to Sebring for the opening of the LeMans series.

congrats on the new car!.

It took me a while to decide on wheels for my car. I finally went with Volk SF Challenges is gunmetal. 18 front 19 rear....

i just upgraded from red 91 auto to silver 92 SC also...

my rims and tires are on fed ex now...

18/19 combo.....Is your car lowered???

Them are some nice shoes...

I think silver is the hardest color to find nice wheels for. Check the "Unofficial Silver NSX" thread for pics of wheels.

congrats!!! 20K??? what a find!!!

here is my old 92 with 17/18 GTC in gunmetal:cool:

WOW, Your the second new owner that I have heard of in as many days with a '91 with only 20K on the ODO...Congrats:smile: Volks are a good choice. Work are also pretty nice. There is a Rays Wheel thread you should do a search on.

WELCOME!!!

Congrats on your purchase! I'm probably the guy Big_D is referring to. Met him at the Palomar run. Silver was my first choice, but I couldn't pass up the deal on this Black one. It's starting to grow on me. I'm a long-time lurker, and this is my first post.

WELCOME!!! Black Cars are Beautiful!!!

Nice to meet you at the Palomar Run. Thats a nice specimen you found. Glad you are enjoying it. Any planned mods?

The run was a blast. I definately could appreciate how the car handles with stock tires and suspension on this run. I usually run my Volks and they are quite a bit heavier.

Sorry if we hijacked this thread...back on topic

I prefer more of a contrast to the car that the gunmetal gives rather than the spark silver.

Congrats on the car and color!

Another look although harder to realize now with wheels no longer produced. Took me months and some serious photo editing to get it right...for me!

91 proof nice,,looking car, How many miles are on it, Are you planning to change rims Saw mine while driving through my neighborhood,This man was washing it, asked if he wanted to sell, He said he think about it, three days later he called me, he gave me a good price, Only problem was the air conditioning,Wasn't blowing cold, He disclosed that when i bought it, Everthing else is perfect.

Well, I've always wanted an NSX since 1991. I wanted a 100% stock, low mile, well maintained vehicle. I plan on keeping it that way except painting the brake calipers red when I do my next brake job. I enjoy the balance of the car, quick, handles well, comfortable, beautiful to look at, great gas mileage (just got 27.5 on a trip to the desert pushing the mountain roads pretty hard and cruising at 80 on the freeway). When looking for an NSX I wanted a car like yours( she's a beauty) but I couldn't find one with low miles. I found my 1991 with 19,427 pampered miles and had to go for it. Plan on driving the car under 3000 miles a year but no matter where I go I always seem to take the longest highway route!!! I hope I answered your questions. Once again NICE CAR danny49!

Congratulations! I did not have time to read all of the posts, so please give us the story leading up to your great purchase, if you have not yet done so. And, have fun, a lot of fun, with your NSX. Don't let her become a Garage Queen!

Welcome to the club!

Mario
