I hope it wasn't an April's Fool joke regarding the billet oil caps. I would hate to waste the time of a reputable company like Comptech (I asked them to call me back in Michigan) for a prank.

It also makes Comptech look bad if the reader never made the connection to April 1, and then didn't receive a return call. They don't deserve that.

I'm sure none of us really want Comptech annoyed at us.

I spoke to Comptech today and Bob mentioned they have had 20+ calls to speak to "The Oil Cap Specialist" resulting from Lud's prank... If you don't know, Shad is the head tech at Comptech, and probably one of the most busiest guys there. Luckily, they filter all calls before they reach Shad.

I don't think Comptech minds, a good laugh here and there keeps up the spirits (especially on a Monday).

Comptech is fine. I called them to make sure they didn't get deluged with calls. Shad's voicemail is full but he deserves a little hassle in his life!

I told them that if it became a problem to just call or e-mail me and I'll pull it of the site ahead of time. They are having a bit of fun with it as well right now.
